First Time in Nashville, TN
Here are a few of my favorite places to visit:
Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant- Downtown Nashville 500 Church St, Nashville, TN 37219
Yum! This is a great place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The seasoning they use is AMAZING. So amazing, that we still order it from their website and have it delivered to our home. Country Music Hall of Fame 222 5th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203
and RCA Studio B 1611 Roy Acuff Pl, Nashville, TN 37203
You should visit the Country Music Hall of Fame at least once. They have a great display of clothing, cars, and records of many famous country artists. While you are there, you should most definitely do the RCA Studio B Tour. This was my favorite thing about Nashville. If you love music like I do, put this on your to do list. It gives you a great sense of what it was like to be an artist in the late 1950's to 1970's. Sit at the piano where Elvis Presley played or stand on the X where he sung. Truly an amazing experience!
Ryman Auditorium 116 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219
"Mother Church of Country Music"
What a beautiful auditorium this is, from the stained glass windows to the old pews. This place is sure to take you back in time. The original Grand Ole Opry. See if you can catch a live concert here. Backstage tours available. https://www.ryman.com/
Grand Ole Opry 2804 Opryland Dr, Nashville, TN 37214
A trip to Nashville isn't complete until you stop by the Grand Ole Opry. If you can't make it to a show, they have huge guitars out front you can take your photo by. Make sure to get your concert tickets in advance to get some great seats for country music's greatest show! Backstage tours available. https://www.opry.com/
Tootsies 422 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203
If you are wanting to hear some great live music, Tootsies is the place to go. Even my grandma thought this place was fun. (She's hip for an older lady.) http://www.tootsies.net/
Ernest Tubb Record Shop 417 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203
World Famous. I absolutely love the sign out front, great photo op. Take the time to go check out what records they have. I purchased a few from them! https://etrecordshop.com/
