Walnut Ridge, AR ... A Beatles fan must see!

Walnut Ridge, AR is a great place to come across accidentally.
We enjoyed our time here!
All of the things in this post are within walking distance of each other.

Here's the list of must sees:

Beatles Park SW 2nd St, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476
Ever wanted to walk with The Beatles? Now's your chance. This is such a great tribute to a great band. The story behind this is equally great also.

Imagine 201 W Main St, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476

We really hadn't planned to go into this place but we were certainly glad we did. So many records, old newspapers including the ones from the day Elvis Presley died. The lady that worked here said they were the original newspapers she had kept over the years. She went to Memphis, TN the day he died and bought them. She also told us she had met Elvis Presley when she was a little girl at her family restaurant here in Walnut Ridge, AR. We enjoyed talking with this lady and I long to go back someday.

The Dark Side Coffee House 104 Abbey Rd, Walnut Ridge, AR 7247
The sweet lady at the Imagine store turned us on to this place. And boy, are we glad she did. The food was amazing. A laid back atmosphere and we were the only ones in the place. It was in December so maybe the time of year was why it wasn't so busy. Highly recommend you eat here.

Rock 'n' Roll Highway 67 Guitar Walk SW Front St, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476
This famous highway runs through Walnut Ridge, AR. A lot of famous singers used this highway while traveling with their bands. As I mentioned earlier in this post, the lady at the Imagine store told us she had met Elvis Presley as a little girl. Some of the singers would stop at Walnut Ridge, AR. The guitar walk is a great tribute.

If you ever find yourself near Walnut Ridge, AR be sure to ride through this town. You won't regret it.
